Soak up the festive atmosphere brought to you by the Brothers Cairns Cup 2016, one of the much-awaited racing events in Cairns’ social calendar. Held annually in August during the winter season, this century-old event takes place at Cannon Park Race Course, home to the Cairns Jockey Club.
The Brothers Cairns Cup Ladies Day will kick off on a Saturday, 13th August 2016, while the Brothers Cairns Cup Day will be held in the following day from 11 AM. Admission prices vary accordingly. Gate admission tickets purchased prior to the event are priced at $20.00 (adults) while gate admission prices during Cairns Cup Race Days are as follows: adults (18 and over) cost $25, pensioners (Available at the gate only) and children ages 5-17 years (Available at the gate only) cost $10, and children under 5 get in for free.
Please note that persons under 18 years of age are permitted to enter the Course during the two racing days of the Cairns Cup under the strict supervision of a parent or guardian. Wristbands will be provided to attendees over 18 years of age who wish to consume alcoholic beverages. However, Cairns Jockey Club reserves the right to refuse to serve alcohol to anyone who fails to show his or her ID.
