Listen up, theatre fans! Rondo Theatre proudly presents `night, Mother on the 15th of April 2016 (Friday).
`night, Mother, a 1983 Pulitzer Prize winner for Drama written by Marsha Norman, is a one-act play that will revolve around only two characters on stage: Jessie Gates and her mother.
First performed on Broadway in 1983, the play quickly escalates with Jessie asking her mother where her deceased father’s gun is hidden. As she cleans the gun, Jessie quietly announces that she’s going to kill herself at the end of the evening. This results in a fierce struggle between mother and daughter. Will Jessie kill herself, or can her mother find a way to stop her?
